Protect Your Future With A Comprehensive Estate Plan

You’ve worked hard for all you have. As such, you should protect the future of your assets and financial resources. I’m estate planning lawyer Gayle Goldsmith. As the founding attorney of Legacy Law Solutions, I provide skilled guidance in creating your estate plan, giving you confidence that your wishes will be known and all you’ve acquired over the years will be protected. With more than 30 years of legal experience, I have a thorough understanding of the tools available to my clients as they plan for the future of their estate.

Empowering You To Plan For The Future

Creating an estate plan forces us to think about the uncomfortable reality that we are mortal. I understand that this can be uncomfortable and strive to create an atmosphere of peace and calm in the process. Though we often avoid thinking about a future, of which we are not yet a part, doing so can be incredibly empowering as you reflect on the estate you’ve created and the loved ones you wish to leave it to.

In addition, it is good to know that while you are still alive, you have Advanced Directives (Durable Power of Attorney for Health Care and Living Will) which grant those who know and care about you to discuss your wishes with doctor and health care providers.  A Power of Attorney will authorize someone you name to care of your finances.

After you die, a Last Will & Testament will authorize someone you trust to “step into your shoes” and take care of your estate and distribute your belongings to those you name. When you have a Will, the State cannot interfere with how you distribute your assets, except in limited circumstances.
